Hello!

For the most part we're all moved in and settled. We've been sleeping here since Sunday. It's been pretty awesome, actually. Dale and I had Nov 30th & Dec 1st off together and we worked overtime to get everything unpacked and cleaned up so we could relax.

I have pictures, and am totally stoked. I'm so happy how things turned out. I worked hard to make sure we had room, but we had the furniture to support everything. If you just want to go look its here. Else wise, it'll be at the end of the journal!

It's been fantastic. It's cool to be able to come home and chill with ~Silver-wolfox and her husband... And playing with their daughter is all kinds of win. She's too cute and growing so fast! She's going to be fully talking in no time!

Work... It is assy. I can't wait to find something better. I'm going to look daily at the job listings, and hope to find something... I'm starting to wonder if the only way I'm going to make money is to move out of province/country? It's ridiculous.

Saturday is the Christmas party for work, maybe I'll win something Wish me luck? XD

Excuse the sofa, we sleep there

So as you already know, I'm moving in like 3 days! I'll get to spend some awesome time with ~Silver-wolfoxI'm excited for it! It'll be so much better! As of the past ~3 years, Dale and I have been living in my bedroom in my Grandmother's house. It's a townhouse, it has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 in the basement. There are 4 people who live here, 1 person that comes and goes, and another that stays during the weeks so he's closer to his job - and that's not even including us! So it'll be good to get out.

Beyond that... The Druid's Keep is up and in its winter form. Work is BS as always, applying and hoping for a new job! We're into the retail Christmas... So all dressed up and what not.

So wish me luck, and hopefully I'll get some new posts up after I move

So the time has come, and November has begun! Which means that The Druid's Keep's Festival has as well!

We are holding a 50/50 & Raffle from November 1-November 19th 11:59pm!
Prizes are still being decided, but they have the chance to change as well (for the better!) if there is a lot of interest! Tickets for both go for 1gd for 1 or 2gd for 3! So come help us out, while giving your chance to win prizes!

We have a local, and a species edit for the festivities! Our lovely children friends, the Furlings, get their own unique avatar to help enjoy their childhood! As well, anyone can bring out their childhood with the use of our balloon local!

We're holding Scavenger Hunts daily, and the prizes are Halloween Candy and Pillows! We had our first one earlier today, and we are excited, and cannot wait to do more!

We hope to see you guys there, and I certainly hope to have lots of participation! This is a great way for us to get to know more of you, and even bring more people into the guild.

Hello, hello! Kata and I are pleased to present you with the future of The Druid’s Keep! The very near future as well! We would first like to announce that we now have a Calendar! You can always access it from the “Events” section of the forum. Please keep an eye on it; we could pop random classes or events at any given moment!

Our biggest news is that we will be holding a festival! We will be having a Fall Festival from November 1st – November 21st. We hope everyone will join us and have fun. There will be special locals, to be disclosed at a later date (we can’t spoil all the surprises!), a scavenger hunt, a 50/50 draw, a raffle, and “adoptables”. The dream will be a temporarily different, as it will be the festival dream. So let’s break down and talk about some specifics shall we!

Scavenger hunt! There will be a series of events, NPCs and items to collect as you proceed through. The scavenger hunt will be limited to the first person who completes it - though a group must start it – will win a small prize. Prize speculations are such as pillows, muffins, and hot cuppa’s.

Local species – Kata has been working hard on some local species that will be a surprise for the festival… They are definitely unique, and festival like! Very fun… I think you’ll all be very excited and surprised by them.

50/50 – A 50/50 draw is when people purchase tickets, and the amount pools, and then we “draw” a winner, and they win 50% of whatever was collected. The other 50% goes into the dream fund to be able to hold future events and eventually purchase dream packages. The amount varies from how many enter to how many purchase tickets. Tickets will be 1GD for 1 Ticket or 2GD for 3 Tickets. Each ticket will be an entry into the contest. The drawing will be done as a public dice roll, we will release the list prior to the “drawing”. All tickets will be purchased by gifting scales to a specific bot.

Raffles – Raffle prizes are still in the works, it will be very dependent on what sort of outcome we get. Art and digos are very likely at the moment, however, if there is enough interest and enough interest, prizes will increase and there will be more. More prizes = more winners, and more in the more chances at bigger prizes! Drawings will be done publicly, same as 50/50.

Last, but certainly not least – Adoptables! Kata has created some pre-mades that she will sell (the line art and the designs) as well as edit the lines and colors to match your character. She will update later with more information on this.

We truly hope you will all join and participate in all the exciting events. We will keep you all updated, and will release more information as the time nears. We will have a list of prizes and what not as well. If you have any suggestions or what not, feel free to post them in the suggestions thread. We are always happy to take suggestions and we do think about them, if they are not implemented right away, they may be put on a list for future updates.
